UK borrowers fail to find the cheapest loans for cars

Latest loan research has discovered that very few people are taking time out to find the best car loan deal; instead they prefer to economise and make savings on less important issues.

Only 10 per cent of the study carried out by Lloyds TSB highlighted that they shop around to get savings on mortgages, car loans and other related products.  It was surprising to also find out that 61 per cent of people would visit bargain shops like pounds shops to make their money savings.  Nearly half the people taking part in the survey said that they believed the savings were just not there when looking at reviewing their portfolio of financial products.

The director of current accounts at Lloyds TSB said “By watching the pennies it’s easy to lose sight of the pounds, She also added  “Being careful with your spending is wise but to really boost your bank balance you should take a long hard look at the financial products you have.”

Making the switch over to different products is not as painful as it may seem as found by over 75 per cent of the people.
